THE LANE ESTATE
The Lanes are one of the more prestigious and sought after families of Cleveland's elite. Though they own one of the larger mansions on Euclid Avenue, they often entertain at their remote estate situated on a parcel of land some miles from the city proper. The Lane Estate was built with funds millionaire industrialist Siegfried Lane generated during America's "War Between The States". Siegfried purchased the secluded land and built the Victorian style home at the request of his wife Elizabeth so she could seek solace from the city noise and prying friends.

THE ROMY CARAVAN
The Romy gypsies live on the eastern border of the Lane Estate. Not known to stay in one place for long, they have been given work through the generosity of Siegfried Lane. Their presence also serves the purposes of his daughter Dorian, but for reasons not so gracious.
