Siegfried Lane
Siegfried Lane is a rich businessman of great prestige in Northern Ohio. His father was a banker, and so was his father's father, but Siegfried took a different path. "Petroleum is the future of America!" The Lane family is one of the oldest in the Great Lakes regions. They owned much of the “early American” property and eventually founded the town bank to hold their own money. From then until now the bank's holdings have increased exponentially. It would be nice to think the Lanes were benefactors of their area, but that would be a blatant lie. The Lanes have made their money from loans grabbed from the sweat of local farmers and business owners. When the sweat stopped pouring, the bankers would foreclose on the property. Such was the wealth of Siegfried Lane. If there is any soft spot seen in Siegfried's exterior, it is for his daughter Dorian who he adores with his life.
